He realizes his mistake too late, however, and she is not about to forgive and forget. It takes a killer intent on targeting Beth to bring her back to him and the Last Riders for protection. Razer may have learned his lesson, but as long as she is at the club, Beth has to play by their rules.
Hooked on The Last Riders!
Beth knows the men on motorcycles are bad news, so staying away from them should be easy. She is a good girl, who works hard, attends church regularly, and takes care of her teen age sister. All is well until she catches the eye of Razer, a sexy bad boy biker. Razer wants the innocent girl, and will do what it takes to get her. After having her heart broken by the bad biker, Beth, ends up in his clubhouse and under the clubs protection. Razer and Beth take us on one hell of a sexy ride.
Good Girl meets Bad Boy. A classic theme in romance, but Jamie Begley took the Good Girl to a whole new level with Beth, the daughter of a preacher. I was hooked, fascinated by Beth and her reactions to sexual situations she was exposed to. I have never wanted the good to turn bad so desperately, but I wanted Beth to loosen up and be a bad girl. However, I really like her character. I adore her devotion to her friends and family, and her innocence is funny in parts of the story.
The bad boy is also taken to an extreme, Razer is sexy as hell! A true definition of male perfection: demanding and straight to the point, hard and strong, a man not to be messed with. Razer’s sex appeal is felt from the moment we meet him. Watching Razer introduce Beth to the world of the MC, and the rules that come with it, I was sucked in.
I really love The Last Riders. The rules of the club were unique, and they captivated me. I like how women can become members of the club by being voted in, and how women are not owned by one particular member. A great take on a MC. I want more!!
Razer’s Ride is read by Elizabeth Hart. Elizabeth is soft spoken, as is the main character Beth, so I felt she was a good fit. However, Razer’s Ride is written in third person, and it was difficult to distinguish between Beth’s character and the narration of the story. I felt Elizabeth did a good job with Beth, and the secondary characters, I just would have liked a little more from the story telling. I think if Elizabeth relaxed a little it would have flowed a bit more. It felt a bit stiff at times. However, as the story progressed Elizabeth fell into a rhythm, and I enjoyed her overall. I would recommend Razer’s Ride for those who enjoy books filled with boiling hot sex, hot as hell men, and a story that will suck you in!
