Broken by the loss of her father to cancer, Alexandra is headed off to College to start a new chapter in her life. Ready for her adventure, Alex hopes to find a friend in her new roommate. Much to her surprise her new roommate is not at all what Alex had expected, he is a sexy bad boy who has tattoos and smokes. Elijah is kind of guy Alex would not think twice about on a normal day, but there is something about him that calls to Alex. Elijah is has had his own difficult past to deal with, and has become hard to these around him. He has a few close friends and likes to keep everyone else a distance. All is going well until Alex walks into his life, and throws his world into a tail spin.
The characters in My Clarity really drew me into the story. I truly adored each character’s personality, but when the characters are together the chemistry between them is off the charts. Alex and Elijah share a powerful connection neither knew they shared. I love the support the characters find in one another. What an emotional story!
Alex won me over. She is so thoughtful, and I really enjoyed her easy going attitude. Aletha George narrates Alex’s point of view, and she really brought Alex to life. Aletha has an innocent, sweet, and pleasant voice. She speaks clearly, and emotion is evident in her tone. It is evident how Aletha connects to Alex. I Loved both the Narrator and the Character.
Nelson Hobbs narrated Elijah’s point of view, and I loved his voice. He makes the totally hot Elijah even hotter. His sexy smooth voice is pleasant to listen to, and I found myself lost in his words. He did a great job of narrating for Elijah. His complex attitude, and hidden emotions were presented perfectly in Nelson’s words.
I really liked this amazing audio book, and I would recommend it!
