All the questions were answered that let do the ending of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. All we knew was that Abby asked Travis to get married- except what we didn’t know was that could Travis be charged with a crime? Would he be responsible for all the deaths in the fire?
The story begins moments after the fire in Keaton Hall, the emotional tragedy that both Abby and Travis went through. As the news covers the after math, and parents and families needed to blame someone….. that’s when Abby proposes.
“If I pulled the wedding off, and kept Travis out of prison without him knowing why, it would be my best bluff yet.”
Abby does not expect the feelings that come with getting married, fear of loosing the only man she’s ever wanted. Having second thoughts, wondering if getting married was the best idea being 19 years old.. would marrying Travis help him?
Travis couldn’t control this situation this time, but what I didn’t like was that if Travis really knew why they did the whole shot gun wedding, would Travis feel different.. I mean the shot gun wedding is practical for both of them, but did she want to get married.
This novella was a perfect explanation to what leads to their adventure. Real life fears, makes it a perfect realistic situation.
There was a lot going on in this little novella- and is a perfect read after Beautiful Disaster. Jamie brought us some steamy scenes with Travis and Abby after they get married, and she even brought up Travis deceased mother- with a heart-felt letter for the future Mr.Maddox.
“When a Maddox Boy Falls in Love, They fall in love forever”
The audio of this book is wonderful- I absolutely loved Emma Galvin in Beautiful Disaster that associating Emma in A Beautiful Wedding was easy to flow- The Story was done on a POV from both Travis and Abby- and Zachary Webber did a great job playing Travis.
