When Grace Sheridan returns to Los Angeles to become a working actress, it’s a second shot at a life-long dream. With some help from her best-friend agent, will that dream become a reality—or at thirty-three, has Grace missed her chance at the big time? And when an unexpected sizzling romance with Jack Hamilton, the entertainment industry’s newest “it” boy, threatens to shine an uncomfortable spotlight on her life, how will that affect her career…and his?
Funny, borderline neurotic Grace is perfect in her imperfections, and the sexual chemistry between her and charming yet blissfully unaware Jack is off the charts. With laugh-out-loud dialogue and a super-steamy romance that will get your heart racing, sneaking around in L.A. and dodging the paparazzi has never been so fun.
The narrator on this book was unreal- she really got into the character and she made me get sucked in. I don’t think without her attitude towards everything this book wouldn’t have been as good! So Bravo girl!
The Unidentified Redhead is funny, whitty, sexy and romantic, this book takes you on the hottest scenes, and It wasn’t drawn out. Alice Clayton makes you love both Jack the sexy Brit and Grace the 30’s something Diva. Well not really Grace was anything but, she was just dried up wanna be actress in her 30’s – why would a famous Hollywood actor that is yeah in his mid 20’s wanna hook up with her?!!… As a women in my 30’s Im not sure I would hook up with a 20 something but the way Jack Hamilton whoooo’s you- you fall madly in love with him!!
A friendly bantering of friendship between Sheridan and Hamilton brings weeks worth of fun- without sex- after long friendship building and little self confidence in Grace- both Jack and Grace bring sparks that literally ignite the earbuds. Grace is offered a job in NY, that means she has to leave her new house she bought- and Hamilton … Jack!- Will their love be strong enough to hold over 3000 miles away? ..
Grace is defiantly Neurotic, and crazy- but that is what makes this book so freaking awesome. I wouldn’t change anything — about this book- I can’t wait to start listening to the rest of the Redhead series.
Kelli Lefkovitz is the narrator on this series- and I’m telling you – I would def listen to more of her stuff- she has a funny whitty voice that captures your attention in a romantic comedy. The narrator didnt change her voice for the female/male parts- I was okay with that considering with how fun the book was it didn’t bother me. Jack has a british voice, but she didnt use it – but something about it sounded made me already know he had a British voice- I think it would have been to much if there was.
