Tattooed. Hot. My best friend's brother. Off-limits, except for that one night.
That One Night
Cannot be spoken of. Cannot be thought of. Cannot allow myself to daydream.
Daydream
That I’m going to become someone. That he can see me as someone.
Someone
To love. To forget. To believe. To taste.
To make me forget my everlasting sin once and for all.
Sinfully Addicting!
An amazingly sinful summer night changed the lives of Riley and Hudson forever. Hudson never intended to fall for his sister’s best friend and the girl he promised to look after since they were kids, but the pull toward Riley was strong and undeniable. One night, a few hours of happiness, is the all couple has together, before a horrible tragedy pulls them apart, and the time they spent together is little more than memories and a sinful secret. After years of trying to forget and move on, Riley and Hudson once again find one another. But past passions and painful skeletons battle for the future and a story of growing up, forgiveness, and undeniable love is told.
I really enjoyed both Riley and Hudson. Riley’s innocence really helped to define her character. She is so sweet and caring it was easy to like her, and I could see how Hudson became so mesmerized by her. My feelings on Hudson are more complex. At times I thought he was perfect, sexy, protective, and caring. Other times, I was confused by his actions, and was disappointed in his decisions. Nonetheless, in the end I was won over, I understood why Riley had such strong feelings for him. Hudson and Riley’s story kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is told in a way that keeps you guessing and wanting more! I loved the way the details unveil themselves throughout the book.
Everlasting Sin is narrated by M. Capehart. I enjoyed her crystal clear voice and found myself lost in her words. However, as the story is written in duel of point of view, I felt it would have been more effective to have a male speak for Hudson, but M. Capehart did a good job with both characters and I would recommend this audiobook.
